Welcome, Lincoln, Nebraskans!
At Ragdoll’s suggestion, I took the bull by the horns and decided I loved the idea of creating a local social, built on top of my favorite blogging platform.
In the spirit of the Tumblr meetups, I would like to offer up “LNK_NE” as a focal point for tumblrs, artists, or anyone interested; operating as a Tumblr Group.
The site’s domain is lnk-ne.com but, I (and I’m sure many of you) hate having to type dashes into an address bar, let alone saying them out loud to people when someone asks for the site’s URL. So, lnkne.com should be forwarding to lnk-ne.com in the next 24 hours. Honestly, that’s probably what I’ll use most of the time when typing the address in manually.
Right after I post this, I’ll set about inviting everyone that Tumblr has on it’s map in Lincoln. If you know/follow someone who lives in Lincoln, tell ‘em to put themselves on the map! I’ll check it often.
I didn’t think much past just getting us all a spot carved out on the web, from here on, it’s your show. Naturally, I’ll be quite active.
